A gourmet feast

Our gourmet hotel is a paradise for all guests who are looking for a melt-in-the-mouth holiday – from a lavish breakfast through to a delectable dinner. The team led by Executive Chef Matthias Wenin and Chef de cuisine Giovanni Di Ruocco blend Alpine and Mediterranean influences, with a firm focus on fresh, regionally-sourced products. We pair our culinary masterpieces with the best of wines from South Tyrol, Italy and the world: It’s no surprise, then, that our hotel is listed in the ranks of the Genießerhotels & Restaurants association of outstanding gourmet restaurants and hotels.

Gourmet breakfast

A good day starts with a great breakfast – and, given that the perfect breakfast is a very personal choice, you’ll find everything imaginable at our breakfast buffet! Sweet, savoury, healthy or “anything goes on holiday:” The countless homemade, speciality dishes are far too tempting to start the day with a coffee alone. And out on the panoramic terrace, you can start your day to the warming rays of the South Tyrolean sun.

Lunch & dinner

A good start: Here at La Maiena, all meals are à la carte! From light lunches through to lavish 5-course dinners, you always have an array of fabulous culinary creations to choose from. Always seasonal, often regional, and sometimes inspired by cuisine the world over. A holiday at La Maiena means a holiday for your tastebuds too!

Pool Bar Fiorello

Fiorello – “little flower” in Italian: The perfect name for our Pool Bar, where we serve vibrantly-hued drinks, fruity sundaes and fresh snacks. The Fiorello is a superb laid-back venue for a light sweet or savoury bite in the afternoons, and is open every day from 2 to 6 pm.

Kitchen and chefs

There’s much reason to rejoice: Our kitchen is run by true masters of the culinary arts. As Executive Chef, Matthias Wenin directs the culinary management at La Maiena, while our Chef de Cuisine Giovanni Di Ruocco puts it all into practice with impeccable skill and expertise – and several times a week, you have the opportunity to watch him at work.
