South Tyrol truly is an extremely fortunate corner of the Earth. Our countryside is not only beautiful beyond compare but is also home to fabulous, first-class regional products all year round, all of which we conjure into variety-packed cuisine which blends the traditions of South Tyrol with the tastes of Italy. In creating our gourmet dishes, we use countless ingredients which have grown practically on our doorstep - from Terlan asparagus through to succulent South Tyrolean speck, delectable forest mushrooms, fresh herbs that are bursting with flavour, over 20 varieties of apples and superb locally-produced wines.
