Here at La Maiena, sustainability is a matter that is dear to our hearts. Sometimes our efforts are clear to be seen, and at other times they’re a little more behind the scenes but, whichever way, sustainability is a thread that runs through our entire hotel - from environmentally-friendly cleaning through to the many regionally-sourced products in the kitchen, the absence of disposable plastic (e.g. straws and slippers) to our resource-saving energy concept.

We are delighted if our guests help us in our mission by, for example, not changing towels every day. You can also get around in ease and comfort on public transport (bus and train) directly from La Maiena. We are of the firm conviction that many small changes can have an immense impact.
