You’ll see it from the moment you arrive: La Maiena is a true family-run hotel. Here at La Maiena, you don’t just have one single host, but the entire Waldner family. Junior manager Mathias runs the hotel, his partner Evelyn manages reception, while his sister Elisabeth is in charge of the Sensa Spa, and her partner Matthias is our culinary advisor. Senior manager Hans welcomes you in at the Flatscherhof, our Alpine mountain inn, while Marlene. Within the hotel, senior manager Marlene takes care of you and is responsible for the interior design. As you can see: A Waldner is always there for you! To us, La Maiena is family, work and vocation…and every day is a mini family reunion. We love it!

We are lucky that our whole family work together at La Maiena. But, needless to say, we can’t do everything alone. Our fabulous team of 72 employees support us, and make sure that your holiday at La Maiena is perfect. Some of them have been with us for many years, while others are new to the team…and they are all part of the family. That’s why we call them our La Maiena Holiday Heroes.
